Carson City Oil House; Venetian Red
Oil House.
Built 1887 to store petroleum products - typically lubricants, but also later gasoline.
The building was closed in 1949, and torn down soon after the V & T's abandonment in 1950.
This model represents the oil house as it may have looked after construction through some time in the 1890s.
