Belgian 1920-type riveted bracket with 2 welded dolls, 1931-type 3-position signals: combined (stop+distant) for main route, divergence and shunt Left. Uses Bloodnok feathers Left and Straight. The shunt arm is activated through a SHUNT modifier.

Belgian mechanical signalling, which was phased out during the latter half of the previous century, has received little attention and little photographic coverage, in contrast to its British ancestor. The Belgian association P.F.T. has published Histoire de la signalisation ferroviaire en Belgique - Tome II, a monograph on this subject (in French). For the proper use of Belgian signals, signal rule books should be consulted. These are either in French or in Dutch.
