The brilliant colors of autumn have disappeared in the heartland as cold fronts sliding down from the North clashing with moisture moving up from the Gulf. From Birch to Declaration the landscape is covered with a blanket of white. Despite the snow and wind the railraods continue to operate smoothly and efficiently. The rotaries are out and the tracks are cleared as the need to move consumer goods contiunues unceasingly. Winter in the Heartland will not stop operations along the Birch and Declaration subdivision.
