In this scenario, you will operate the engine and line most of the switches following the instructions of the conductor. Turn on your speakers and clear your screen with the F5 key. The dispatcher lines the motorized switches for the freight trains but you will have to flop them if they are not lined for your train after a freight passes. Uncoupling is done by the brakeman, aka automatically. Use the map to locate sites. The view is currently set for tracking but feel free to change to your preference. The scenario is approximately 2 1/2 hours in length (real time) with a spot for a break. You have 12 hours (scenario time) to complete the run before the dog crew is sent out to pick you up and the scenario shuts down. If you would like to ride in the caboose for a time just left click on the caboose and press the one key. If you forget or do not understand an order, you will find your switching orders under the information icon in the upper left of the screen. This scenario is a McLeod family project. It was designed and thoroughly tested by John McLeod, the conductor, dispatched by wife Joann with Amanda at the throttle of the Fruit Train.
