This session is for the fictitious route (Lowfell Valley Railway Network).
There are command controlled passenger services and freight running along the route.
Passenger trains are programmed to stop at selected stations.
Features Australian designed VLocity passenger trains in service along the line.
Your job as a train controller is to keep the trains moving to their destination point.
The VLocity is a diesel multiple unit train built for the Victorian railway network in Australia.
Formation is 2 or 3 carriages or 2x3 carriage units coupled together.
Seated passenger capacity is 144 (2-car unit) or 216 (3-car unit).
Specifications:
Carriage length 25.25 m (82 ft 10 in)
Carriage width 2.92 m (9 ft 7 in)
Entry and Exit doors 4 per carriage (two each side)
Maximum speed 160 km/h (100 mph)
The wheel bogies are made for broad gauge track 1,600 mm (5 ft 3 in).
