Victorian Railways T insulated van Type 3 - version 1 (6 wheel) - 1903-1933
These T insulated vans were built between 1909 and 1924, with 226 being built in total. These insulated vans carried all types of perishable goods to and from towns all across Victoria, including meat, fish, butter, milk, cheese, and more. Originally built with 6 wheel underframes and drop ratchet handrbakes, the class were rebuilt with 4 wheel underframes suitable for automatic coupling between February and September 1933.

This wagon represents the T vans as first built with screwlink couplers, 6 wheel underframes, and with early style door latches, in weathered wagon brown.

Features animated couplers and brake hoses using the ACS system, operating doors, taildisc (and tail lamp at night) when at the rear of a train, and automatic numbering.
