AN 23m open waggon AKOX

AustralianN National 23 Metre Open Goods waggon code AKOX. Between 1968 and 1976 Commonwealth Railways took delivery of 623 - 23m open goods waggons coded GOX. On the change to Australian National the GOX waggons were re-coded AOOX.Thirty two AOOX wagons had their four doors and two side panels removed for carrying steel, and were re-coded AKOX.
