PRR Cat 4t K Type Low (rusty viaduct)

A Pennsylvania Railroad four track catenary spline, K-Type, Low, for use where there is not room for guy wires to support the poles. It has two sets of 132,000-volt transmission lines, an 11,000-volt trolley line and signal transmission lines. Catenary structures are spaced at 270 feet, and closer on curves. Original paint was silver, but over time this wore off and what you see is red-lead primer and rust. This set has width spaced to the PRR minimum for use on viaducts and bridges.
