UP Eureka Yard
Welcome to Texas! This is a prototypical modul of the Eureka Yard located 7 miles north of Houston, Texas. This yard is owned by Union Pacific and crosses a BNSF Wye where there is a storage/ run-around track that once was a line to Katey, Texas, but it is now abandoned. This yard is used for locomotive fueling/ storage and freight train transfers to Houston.
