Dreadnought Tramcar 136

A total of 65 Dreadnought or Centre Aisle type tramcars were built between 1908 and 1925.
Several modifications were made over the years in an effort to improve safety and comfort for both passengers and crew, resulting
in many variations. This model is shown with the 6 window body, cow-catcher type lifeguards and Brill 39E1 bogies Numbers 124 and 136 were the only
trams to appear in this manner.
No 136 has been preserved by the Brisbane Tramway Museum..
No.136 was built in 1914 and is presented here the way it would have appeared during the 1960's.
