Dropcentre Tramcar 365

A total of 191 Drop Centre type tramcars were built by the Brisbane City Council and several coachbuilding contractors between 1925 and 1938.
This model represents numbers from 311 and 313 to 366 which where built between 1935 and 1937. Cars were equipped with 2x60 hp GE275RB, GE275SB, MV114 or Witton motors mounted in
4' 6Diamond frame or 5' 5 Plate Frame reverse maximum traction trucks built by the B.C.C. Controllers were General Electric B54E type. Trolley pole bases were US13 type and utilised the trolley wheel contact method.
311 was the first Dropcentre tram to be built with the heavier vestibuled appearance. Here, 365 is presented in the way it would have appeared during the 1960s.
