Klv/Skl 51

The Klv 51 was a new model of a small track car. Built in large quantities between 1951 and 1964, it was used to bring the track building/track repair crew to the construction site.

The cars were used for all kinds of track repair. A small crane helped load and unload more bulky and heavy construction parts. If more capacity was needed, a trailer was coupled to the track car. Today nearly all Klv 51 cars are out of regular service, most are in the collections of heritage railways.
