Cid bad 11

347 of these third class passenger cars were purchased for the Grandducal Baden State Railways (Baden State Railways after November 1918) between 1911 and 1922. They represented the final stage in the development of four-wheeled passenger cars for branch line service in Baden. After the formation of Deutsche Reichbahn most of them remained within the territory of Reichbahndirektion Karlsruhe. This was the new name for the administrative unit within Deutsche Reichsbahn, which carried on operations of the former Baden State Railways. Some of them were modified in 1930 and 1951/52, respectively. The last of them were eventually withdrawn from service in the late 1950s.
