Approach Target Track Mark

New version 1.0 2014-11-24. This driver command was originally designed for use where locomotives need to be bunched up on a siding waiting for deployment. Other options have been added to allow coupling and driving within yards. Signals are ignored. If a closed junction is encountered before the target, the loco does not move but the command remains active. Be sure to set the train direction before issuing this command.

Options:
a. The AI Driver will attempt to drive to a target track mark ahead, specified by the user.
If vehicles obstruct the path to the track mark, then the AI Driver will approach the nearest obstacle to within a user-defined range and wait until the obstructing vehicle moves away.

The command remains active until all obstacles to the target clear, and the AI Driver reaches the target track mark. Note that the command cannot establish the correct path to the target track mark - this must be set up prior to the command becoming active. There are three variations to allow control of the spacing between locos if they get too close or stop too far away.
A second set of three variations cause the command to terminate if the loco is stationary for 10 seconds. Used to park brake vans and consists on a siding with spaces between them.

b. Other options of this command are to couple to the vehicle ahead or, if no vehicle is found, stop at the target trackmark.
Several choices can be made as to the stopping position with respect to the target trackmark. The command terminates on coupling, except if the option selected is 'Couple and proceed to TM'.

c. Any trackside object that has a name starting with 'Trigger' or 'END' is seen as an END marker. Locos will treat such an object as a target and stop there if given the command to stop at End marker. If a consist lies between the train and the END marker then coupling takes place and the command immediately terminates.

d. An option for high-speed driving via a specified trackmark is included . Speedboards and signals are respected.

e An option to approach a trackmark identified by another asset (a registered trackmark) is used when the target is variable and unknown at session design time. Other game objects can set this target value during a session.
