It`s a misty Monday morning and you are driving a non-stop express passenger train to London. Your engine is 55001. Make your way through the Midlands as control gives you priority over all other traffic.

Control will need to manage routes and drivers skillfully to keep the express rolling and avoid head-on collisions.

Passenger traffic moves anti-clockwise and freight moves clockwise.

When you`ve tired of driving the deltic round the bends, give it driver commands to continue its journey and deal with the freight traffic.

The coal train is struggling. The 37 will have to be seen by the fitters.

Sideline the coal train to let a container freight on its way, then find alternative power for the coal train.
