The snow ploughs have cleared the tracks and regular Intercity passenger services will run throughout the day, taking people home for the Xmas break.

These services should take care of themselves, but keep an eye on them to avoid problems - you must change back any points you move to keep things moving and keep out of their way. It may be necessary to re-schedule their moves.

Meanwhile, keep your industrial customers happy by moving supplies and products on time.

There is a heavy demand for coal at the power station as people turn up their central heating to keep out the cold. Make a delivery each time the power station stops running to keep the lights on! Be aware that coal production is slow at the mines as they near the end of their working lifes. To maintain production you must keep the mines supplied with fuel.

You will need to use some `grunt` when shunting Keresley Colliery. The track here is pretty delapidated, with dips and hollows to negotiate. Make sure the brake van is always at the correct end of the consist.

You will only need three wagon loads of lumber for Keresley Colliery.

Make sure you use your loco`s lights as required. If you find they don`t work the offending loco will have to be sidelined at the soonest opportunity and you`ll have to find a replacement.

I recommend driving each duty yourself. Using driver commands may result in conflicting paths with the AI traffic.

To complete all the tasks can take more than 3 hours.
