Sound will only be heard in game between the hours of 6.30pm and 6am.
The Kiwi is another nocturnal native bird of New Zealand and found in the native bush. They feed on worms and other grubs. Unfortunately due to animals like stoats, weasels, opossums, uncrontrolled dogs (including pet dogs), reduced habitat the population has dwindled tragically, along with many other native bird species.
