SF CDR class 3 Sir James black livery

CDR class 3 loco 4-4-4T no 10, Sir James. Built by Neilson Reid in 1902 and designed, along with her sister loco, Hercules, to operate a fast service between Strabane and Victoria Road, Derry, in competition with the GNR(I) trains. Sir James has been modelled in the Donegal Railway's later black livery. The class 3 locos were the only ones of this wheel arrangement to run on any narrow gauge line in Ireland or Great Britain. Known as the 'Donegal Greyhounds', the two locos of this class were named after two of company's directors; no 10 was named after Sir James Musgrave. She was scrapped in 1935. This Locomotive uses one or more twinkles effects and custom textures created by Rob Hill (LieLestoSbrat) of Lesto Route Works and UK Branch Lines. This model is in memory of Ricky Sykes 1942-2008.
