SF Wylam Dilly

Wylam Dilly, flanged Wylam colliery loco of 1813, built by William Hedley. Originally built to a gauge of 5 feet, this 4-wheeled version is the second variant Hedley experimented with but the axle loading was too great and it broke the cast iron rails used at the time.
