SF Blenkinsop loco Lord Wellington
Blenkinsop-designed cog loco Lord Wellington of 1812, built by Murray. Thanks to Anthony Mount for his invaluable assistance, especially his scale plans and photographs. Thanks also to Aritz, who has given me some great ideas about the loco. Although it had a top speed of about 10mph its normal working speed was about 3.5mph, and its usual load comprised several chauldron wagons loaded with coal.
