PKP SU46-045 303d ZT.Gdynia

In 1972 H. Cegielski, Poznan, invented 303d and 302a class diesel locomotives. The 303d, later named SU46 by PKP standards, was a more modern improved version of the earlier SP45 locomotive. With bigger travtive effory, more modern bogies, new engine and design it was a succesfull diesel locomotive, also the first in Poland to obtain electric heating system for passenger trains. They are used in regular service till today.
