PKP WLABdu G86 St.Warszawa

In 2003 WARS company, the owner andoperator of all sleeping and restaurant coaches was removed as an operator from its duty. PKP IC company took over the coaches hiring WARS only as their operator. Some VEB Waggonbau Gorlitz bautzen sleepers were lightly modernised, while others received some heavier features creating a sub-class. The WLABdu differs from regular WLABd with new doors, new interiors, new lights, toilets and partialy new heating system. The new coaches received the PKP IC paintscheme in 2004 and serve with a top speed of 160kmh on Warsaw-Berlin, Warsaw-Vienna, Warsaw-Budapest and Warsaw-Prague trains.
