PKP Dhx Bauart28 st.Poznan

Model of a polish Dhxz series Bauart28 luggage coach of German origin. Sachsische Waggonfabrik AG delivered 41 coaches of this type to DRG between 1928 and 1929, all were classified as Pw4u-28. Slightly modernised version classified as Pw4u-28a differed with the american type bogeys, while Pw4u-28 had the Gorlitz II Schwer type insalled. In 1945 polish state railways took over many ex-DRG coaches of german origin as war-reparations, this Bauart28 was one of them. Serving PKP in the 1940s and 1950s these were very usefull and modern. In the 1950s and 1960s PKP bought new 3F and 201C type luggage coaches, leaving older pre-war units on secondary line service, in late 1970s and early 1980s all pre-war coaches were withdrawn and replaced with more modern 209C type. This model was made with the materials salvaged from a existing coach of this type falling apart in Torun Kluczyki depot, summer 2009. Script by Qcyk85. Model suitable for TRS2004+
