DB 230 012-7 Bw.Seddin

BR130 class were the 1st large V300 family locomotives imported by DR from Soviet Union. These heavy freight locomotives were equipped with a 3000hp 5D49 type engine and two 3-axle bogeys allowing the maximum speed of 140kmh. After Germany reunited BR130s were reclassified to BR230s but retired soon after. Similar situation appeared with BR231s. This BR230 012-7 diesel was bought by polish private operators in 2010 and brought on a trailer to Wroclaw. Its condition is very bad and will proably never run again.
