Bsig(0009) Belgian Mechanical Signalling - Script Library

Belgian mechanical signalling for Trainz - Signal scripts library.

Scripts for Belgian mechanical signals. These scripts are modified versions of the scripts published by N3V (signal.gs) and by author Bloodnok (vsrsemaphoresignal.gs). The current version, with modifications by hutten, deals with the peculiarities of the Belgian mechanical signalling system. It employs the signal state codes 25 - 39, and is therefore not compatible with standard Trainz signals.

Belgian mechanical signalling, which was phased out during the latter half of the previous century, has received little attention and little photographic coverage, in contrast to its British ancestor. The Belgian association P.F.T. has published Histoire de la signalisation ferroviaire en Belgique - Tome II, a monograph on this subject (in French). For the proper use of Belgian signals, signal rule books should be consulted. These are either in French or in Dutch. A precious collection can be found here: http://www.tassignon.be/trains/documentation/documentation.php.
