Bodmin & Wenford Railway

The Bodmin & Wenford railway is a heritage line in Cornwall, around 6.5 miles in length with Bodmin General at the centre (The main station of the line), from Bodmin General the line splits into two.
Heading East is the 1887 GWR branch built to connect the Cornwall mainline to the town of Bodmin, which runs through down the steep wooded Glynn valley to Colesloggett Halt and finally Bodmin Parkway where it meets the mainline.
Heading West from Bodmin General is the equally steep GWR 1888 branch to Boscarne Junction, which from there used to join the LSWR line from Bodmin North to Wadebridge and Padstow, a more scenic open stretch with rolling fields down the Camel valley.
The route is based on how the line is today and a round trip on both lines is around 13 miles long, both lines are fairly scenic and have some steep sections of 1 in 40 gradients to climb.
