SARN4T Adelaide 1988' is a UTC compatable map based on the Adelaide city and Mile End areas of South Australia of the mid to late 1980's. The module features a representational Adelaide Railway Station, prototypical Mile End Diesel Locomotive Depot, and semi-prototypical Keswick Rail Passenger Terminal from where Interstate passenger trains such as The Ghan and The Overland depart and terminate. Adelaide to Noarlunga line (also known as the South Suburban line) represents the area from Clarence Park to Brighton- approx half the distance of the 30km line created to semi-proto scale.
Includes Tonsley spur line and Mitsubishi Motors factory. Drivable roads and a boat sea path included. It is based on 2006 'ARTC' Standard Guage (SG) line (runs through to Melbourne) and local Trans Adelaide Broard Gauge (BG) line that terminates at Belair. Both the BG & SG run parallel, through to Belair at gradients of 1.5 to 2.5. It is quite phototypical of the Hill's both suburban and countryside. The SG carries major Freight between Islington and Dry Creek in Adelaide to the Dynon yards in Melbourne, and also the 'Overland' passenger service between Adelaide and Melbourne.
