WH_Class_Dirty

This version of the LDP Class is very detailed, hence it has 4 Levels of Detail (LODs) for easier operation on lesser specced PCs.

There are several different VinnyBarb's AN Class engine specs on the DLS which are working with the LDP Class to try to suit your special needs. Just exchange and mofify the Kuid number above.

The most modern unit of the LDP Class Series, these locomotives are used primarily on commodities and freight services by Queensland National Rails. There are 15 units in its class numbered LDP001 to LDPT015. Powerplant is a turbocharged 16 cyl. EMD 16-710 G3C-ES. Power output of 3280 kW/4300 HP. The locomotive has AC traction equipment, with a Mitsubishi electric package also used on the SD70ACe, including a TA17 traction alternator, CA9E companion alternator and six ITB 2630 traction motors, along with solid state IGBT inverters. New technology used included passive steer bogies, to reduce flange wear on corners. The 3 blue and white LDP Downer EDi Demonstrators were numbered 001 - 003 only, I left the numbering script in this CDP intact, so please use only 001 to 003 numbers for these blue and white units. The QRN Eagle scheme ones number LDP 004 - 015.

Length of 22.6m, mass of 134 tons, the LDP Class is one of the most modern up to date (if not THE most modern) of the Australian Diesel Electrics.

There are 32 throttle-notches specified in the AN/SCT engine specs, feel free to change that there to 16 if you so desire. I personally like the 32 notches. Also, read the enclosed 'ReadMe' text for more workings of this Class.
