VR Lilydale Signalbox

This is a replica of the Victorian Railways E1 type wooden Signalbox that was located at Lilydale, on the suburban outskirts of Melbourne. The signalbox, which was commisioned in 1888 and abolished in 1965, is equipped with the 85 lever frame which it 'procured' at the height of it's occupation. As the object is a locomotive acting as a SignalBox, it has a fully detailed interior with in cab positions to simulate the realism of a working Signalbox. It also has some trackside views. The model requires a short stretch of invisible track (any will do) 90 degrees to the railway track and sunk 1.3m below the surface, in order to be placed on your route. Enjoy using this object. This revision incorporates the correct interior which is now on the DLS.
