VR Type 'G' Station - Beaufort

This is a model of a VR Type 'G' Country Station, built from brick (in the 'Colonial' style), as an exact replica of the station still extant at Beaufort in western Victoria (on the line that runs between Melbourne and Adelaide). Because this asset comes complete with all the attendant outbuildings, as per the prototype (except for the paltform mounted Signalbox - which is available separately from the same author), it is provided with it's own 'built-in' platform. In line with the prototype, the asset is provided with a station nameboard, albeit an unusual one for VR practise, that involves the painting of the station name (in 3 foot high letters) on the yard fence, facing the platform (as opposed to a standard VR nameboard). This 'nameboard' utilises the Trainz 'name' capability, allowing up to as many characters in the name as will fit along the length of the fence, which effectively allows the asset to be used in any location (other than as intended - which is to represent Beaufort station, itself). This asset is intended for use in Trainz version TS2009 or later.
