VR Type 'G' Station - Heathcote

This is a faithful replica of the VR Type 'G' Station that once served the town of Heathcote on the 'link' line that ran from Bendigo to Wallan, in Central Victoria. The station building was 'unusual' (but by no means unique) amongst the Type 'G' stations, in that, unlike most of this type, the exterior of the structure was clad in Weatherboard (''Clapboard''), rather than the more commonly used Brick. As one of the two most prominant edifices on the line (the other being Kilmore, closer to Melbourne), the facility served the second largest township along the branch for the entire duration of the line's existence. The line was officially closed between Bendigo and Heathcote in 1958 and the last train between Heathcote Junction (on the main North East line to Albury) and Heathcote, ran in 1968, at which point the station was the official terminus of the line. Because this asset comes complete with it's own 'built-in' platform, as per the prototype, it is 'Passenger Enabled', utilising a number of the Bloodnok scripts (supplied with this asset's kuid-table) to control the stopping of trains at the station. In line with the 'dating' of the paint scheme applied to the station (which, incidentally, it wore to the very end of it's 'life'), as per the prototype, the asset is not provided with any typical VR country station nameboards (which is unusual, in itself) but the excellent alternative ''VR Station Sign Timber'' assets created by S301 may be used if it is desired to provide a name in game. This asset is intended for use in Trainz version TS2009 or later.
