6 lane, 250ft engine shed based on LMS examples of the 'louvre' roof rebuilds implemented in the modernisation program of the 30s - the design proved robust, was adopted by BR and used throughout the network. LOD: 3174, 2304 and 726. Camden, Bescot, Bletchley, Stafford, Bangor, Widnes, Brunswick, Carnforth (open ended), Rose Grove, Low Moor, Lees, and Fleetwood (from limited research) are examples.
