UK Speed Advance 060mph

A Permissible Speed Warning Indicator as used on the British rail network, to provide drivers with early warning that they are approaching track subject to a lower speed restriction.

Their use is not universal, but where they are used they are placed at least braking distance from the start of the speed restriction and must be visible to the driver for a minimum of 4 seconds.

This model depicts the standard self-reflecting style of board introduced in the mid-1980s, white with a yellow border signifying Imperial units, and displays 60mph.
