OW FT B

The EMD FT was the diesel that doomed the steam locomotive. Soled as ether a AB or ABA set with a semipermantly coupled drawbar. Each unit had 1,350hp. This is the GM demo B it ran as an ABBA set for 11 months on 20 railroads for 83,764 miles

This is a reskin into the colors of the New York Ontario & Western Railroad. The O&W was the first major Class I railroad to be completely abandoned. It had lines in New York and Pennsylvania. It did a heavy business forwarding cars from the Lehigh Valley out of Scranton, PA to the New Haven Railroad at Maybrook. Operations ceased in March of 1957
