Gettysburg Station

This 2-track passenger enabled station is based on the station in Gettysburg, PA on the Gettysburg Railroad
(later Western Maryland and later yet as part of the Chessie System). It was originally built in 1858. President Lincoln visited it
in 1863. Passenger service stopped in 1942. It was used as a telegraph office until 1955 then as a detectives office until 1964.
It still exists today as The Gettysburg Travel Council Information Center. Originally the bell rang at the approach of a train. There
is an attachment point (a.sound) in the bell for those who would like to impliment this option . Many thanks to Mike Kiehl (Etrains48)
for the pics and info.
