SAR North Line Goods Shed

South Australian Railways Goods Shed as used on the North Line from Gawler through Burra to Terowie where the broad gauge line terminated. Continuation was possible via Narrow Gauge to Peterborough and from there to multiple destinations. With the demise of the narrow gauge at the tail end of the 1960s the broad gauge line extended through to Peterborough to meet the new Standard Gauge.

Based on the sheds of Roesworthy, Manoora and Merildin. These sheds where built around 1873 using local sandstone and still standing today, with disuse and disrepair evident following the closure of the line.
