M&O Subway

The Leonard M&O Subway was the only privately owned subway in the U.S.
The 1.1 Km line opened in 1963, connecting the Leonard Brothers downtown department store to their parking lot beside the Trinity River.
Tandy Corporation (later named Radio Shack) purchased the property for their headquarters, continuing to use the subway until 2002, when they replaced it with a new headquarters building.
