WAGR Class Ib Wagon. The R (originally IB) class bogie open wagons was another class copied directly from a NZR design (in this case their class R).
This class was a very large group of wagons by W.A.G.R. standards and the most numerous bogie type for much of their existence. Only the G, GC and GE classes were built in greater numbers.
