This is a former Erie branch built by the Buffalo & Southwestern Railroad and operated by Conrail until 1981, when operations were turned over to the New York and Lake Erie Railroad. Erie County Industrial Development Authority acquired the property in 1982 and effective May 1, 1982, designated Buffalo Southern to operate it.
