Longhorn Railway Company LHRR East end of each route blank merges with the west end of the next route blank.

The Longhorn is a subsidiary of the Central of Tennessee Railway & Navigation Company Incorporated, of Nashville, Tennessee, which operates another freight shortline at Nashville.

Longhorn has reopened the entire railroad, from Giddings to Llano, Texas, 154.8 miles, with a branch which extends from Fairland to Marble Falls, Texas, 6.2 miles. Connections are also made with the UP at McNeil and Elgin, as well as now at Giddings. Rail is 90-112-132, and the maximum load limit is 263,000 pounds.

Traffic includes aggregates, crushed limestone, calcium bicarbonate, lumber, beer, chemicals, plastics, and paper -- about 5,000 cars a year. The Austin & Texas Central runs a transit steam engine excursion railroad between Austin and Burnet, Texas
