Decatur Junction

During the summer of 1993, grain cooperatives in central Illinois were in a bit of a quandry. They had outbound grain, but had lost their shipper, the Indiana Hi-Rail. The companies did have ownership of trackage (Cisco Grain Cooperative north from Decatur, Assumption Grain Cooperative south). Enter the Decatur Junction, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pioneer Rail Corporation. On September 23, 1993, the Decatur Junction came into being.

The Decatur Junction currently operates over 32 miles of trackage that is its own and 6 miles belonging to the CNIC in Decatur. The Decatur Junction travels over flat land from termial to terminal. The biggest city the DT serves by far is Decatur. Other cities of note are Macon, Argenta, Mowequa, Cisco and Assumption.

DEM, HOG, Tiger generated terrain from Trainz Route Blanks, http://www.trainzrouteblanks.com.

HOG textures would be nice to have. Found at http://trainz.luvr.net.

This has no objects placed. Only the terrain. Have fun.
