Double pit for unloading and cleaning steam locomotives and for loading them onto gondola or flat cars.
The smaller pit is for unloading ash and cleaning the steam locomotives. It is 2 m deep and has an area of ​​8 x 8 m, with a ramp and access stairs.
The larger pit is for loading ash from the steam locomotives. It is approximately 100 m long and has a maximum depth of 2 m at its end. Gondola cars are placed in the pit for loading the ash. Version 2 pits with ashes.
To be able to see the bottoms of the pits, several consecutive 10 x 10 m digholes must be installed. The pit must be positioned north-south or east-west to correctly position the digholes and be able to see the bottom of the pit next to your track. You also need to place a normal or invisible track buffer at the end of the track. Before placing any attached tracks of your choice, check that the bottom of the pits is visible, then move and reposition them until they are in the correct position. This is not interactive or functional, it is merely decorative. Version 2, pits with ashes, and the first Lod has 14284 polygons which causes a warning in versions higher than Trainz 2012, but can be used without problems in higher versions, has 5 Lods. This ash pit uses an invisible track in driver mode. This track sinks into the ground up to 2 meters, but sometimes in TRS2022, it remains at ground level. We have to move the pit a little so that it recovers its design position (sunk into the ground at 2 meters). In TRS2019, this does not happen.
