Based on an old hut tucked away in the grounds of Strathcathro Hospital, near Brechin, Angus, Scotland, which was both a hospital and an RAF base during WW2. (Incidentally, the area also has military connections from a rather earlier era, since the Romans' most northerly fort was established less than a mile away nearly two milennia earlier ),
