WHR BRO SB BC West Highland Railway Bridge of Orchy Station Building Brown and Cream

Many of the station buildings on the West Highland Railway in Scotland were based on a standard design, reputedly inspired by stations in the Swiss Alps, and thus often described as 'chalet-style'. Nearly all were situated on island platforms, as here, hence the double facing.

Though the pattern is immediately recognisable, nearly every building has unique variations and later alterations. This one is based on the version at Bridge of Orchy (now serving as a hikers' bunkhouse) with its layout and textures derived from my shots of a visit in July 2012, however, I've recoloured the maps so as to represent the colours carried by most of the buildings during the BR steam era (and beyond).

The model is normal-mapped and has nightmode.

Revision addresses a couple of extra maps which were erroneously included and have now been removed, thus lowering the file size.
