Miscellaneous Accessory Series Vintage Cabin Trunk 5

One of a new series of bits and bobs collecting together some of the smaller items I've made but never released until now, or filling gaps in the list of common British items which only exist in lower build numbers.

Forerunner of the suitcase, the cabin trunk was built to carry clothes in a period where they were larger and heavier, and to protect them in protracted transit when both storage and handling were likely to be rougher amd readier than we'd expect today (airport handling excepted). Although their main period of use was up to the 1920s, their solid construction meant that they lasted, and many were still in use much later - I (and most of my fellow sufferers) had one for boarding school in the 60s. Some of those still around today have been transformed into trendy furniture; many more are probably still used for storage in attics.

This version is made in build 2.9 for compatibility with older versions of Trainz and distribution via jatws.org. A later build will be available via the DLS.
