The Copper Creek MIning District sprang up in the western mountains in the early 1900s. The narrow gauge railroad was the supply line for the coal mining industry and was mined in two different mountin towns - Coal Creek and Victorville and the narrow gauge trains would take the mined coal to Copper Creek to be processed. The passenger and freight trains running between the towns supplied them with their everyday goods and people to work in the mines. Many thanks to all the Trainz Narrow Gaugers for their contributions and inspiration for the Copper Creek NG MIning District.
