Shipden, 1:76 scale (UK 00 gauge)

Shipden is a small urban terminus based on Cyril Freezer's *Brill' (plan no. 15 in his PSL Book of Model Railway Plans, 1988).
The original plan, for a train length of two coaches, occupied a baseboard 1.65m x 0.325m. My version, taking four coaches, has been extended but follows the original layout of railway buildings and tracks on a wider baseboard.
Shipden was a village north of Crowmere (Cromer) on the Norfolk coast. It was swallowed by the sea some 700 years ago.
