Nameboard N3b np 10.5

A renameable station platform nameboard, 10.5 x 2.5 feet, for mounting on a wall or fence, based on the M&GN type N3, made of cast concrete, introduced from the early 1920's. By the mid-1930's all M&GN nameboards were of this type. This is a mid-period example with black letters on a white background; later, during the LNER period these colours were reversed.
