A renameable station platform nameboard, 12.5 x 2.5 feet, with supporting posts, based on the M&GN type N1, made of timber, used in the early days of the M&GN. This example has white letters on a black background; later, these colours were reversed. This nameboard carries the name on both sides. Names of up to 13 letters and/or spaces can be used.
