Modern island pfm bldg 01
A 'modern' long island platform building (waiting area and services) described in 1964 as part of British Rail's modernisation plan. The building is modular in construction with panels 40 inches (1 metre) wide. Green panels as at Ditton Junction station matching my 'Modern SB UK 01' and 'Modern SB UK 07a' to'07i'. This shelter requires an island platform at least 7 metres wide.
